The goal is to release a mobile app that makes it as easy to find a Padel partner as it is to swipe through a social feed. The core flow is simple: a player sets up a profile, enters skill level, preferred locations and availability, then starts swiping. When two players swipe right on each other they can chat, schedule the game and—if they opt-in—tag it as a VIP Game.
Matching logic has to respect the chosen criteria (skill level, location and time slots) while still keeping the experience fluid. A ranking system should update automatically after each reported match so that leaderboards stay fresh and players see their progress in real time. The social layer (follow, like, comment) keeps users engaged between games.
I’m happy for you to pick React Native, Flutter or another cross-platform stack, backed by something straightforward such as Firebase or Supabase for real-time data and auth. What matters is a smooth swipe interface, fast geolocation matching and a clean admin panel where I can review users, VIP Games and reported scores.
Deliverables (MVP):
• UX prototype (Figma or similar) approved before development starts
• iOS and Android builds published to TestFlight / internal track
• Source code with clear README and API documentation
• Admin dashboard for user and match moderation
• Short hand-over session and two weeks of post-launch bug support
Acceptance criteria:
• A new user can sign up, set skill, location and availability, then see accurate match suggestions within 3 swipes.
• VIP Games, social interactions and ranking updates work without manual intervention.
• App remains responsive on mid-range devices and uses secure authentication throughout.
If this sounds like a challenge you can tackle, let’s get the conversation started—prototype to store-ready MVP is the first milestone.
