Project Description
I need a web-based platform that can mimic a live truck journey from point A to B. The user should be able to open a link sent to any valid or VOIP phone number, see the route I created through Google Maps, and watch the truck icon “move” as location pings are pushed in real time.
You’ll have access to several working reference sites whose code we’re free to study and adapt, so you’re not starting from scratch. What matters is integrating and polishing the following core features:
• Valid/VOIP phone number link delivery
• Server-side generation of location update pings at set intervals
• Smooth, live truck movement visualised on the embedded Google Map
The initial build is just the beginning; I’m looking for someone who can stay on as the site’s developer and ongoing support partner once we go live. Because this is a long-term collaboration, the timeline is flexible—I’m more interested in solid architecture than in rushing to launch.
When you reply, include a detailed project proposal that outlines your technical approach, preferred stack, milestones, and any questions you need answered before you start.
