Carrier Freight Exchange Platform

Project Description

I am building a web-based freight exchange that focuses exclusively on carriers. The goal is to let any registered carrier log in, search live cargo listings, and book loads in just a few clicks. A clean, intuitive interface is essential; most of my users are on the road and will access the site from mobile devices.

Scope of work
• End-to-end development from a blank repo: UX/UI design, responsive front-end, RESTful (or GraphQL) back-end, database schema, and deployment pipeline.
• Core features for carriers: searchable load board with filters (origin, destination, weight, dimensions, dates), real-time availability, and one-step booking/confirmation.
• Authentication: simple e-mail/password login with session management is enough; I do not need 2FA at this stage.
• Payments can be deferred; just keep the architecture flexible so we can plug in Stripe or a similar gateway later.
• Multilingual readiness, with German as the primary interface language. Direct communication in German is important because many requirements will be refined in that language.

Acceptance criteria
1. Carrier can register, log in, edit profile, and reset password.
2. Carrier can search loads and see results instantly without page reloads.
3. “Book now” locks the load, stores the booking, and notifies the admin via e-mail.
4. Site loads in under 2 s over 4G and scales down gracefully to a 5-inch screen.
5. Codebase documented (README + inline comments) and pushed to a private Git repository I own.

If you are a full-stack developer who speaks fluent German and can steer the entire build—from choosing the tech stack to final deployment—let’s talk. Show More
