E-commerce Site with Product Search
Project Description
I’m launching an online store and my first priority is a fast, intuitive product-search experience that lets shoppers find items instantly. I need a developer who can build the full e-commerce site from the ground up—planning the information architecture, choosing the right stack, and coding a responsive front-end that looks sharp on both desktop and mobile.
Product search is non-negotiable, so please come prepared to implement faceted filters, autocomplete, and relevance tuning. While a shopping cart and payment gateway aren’t in this initial scope, I’m open to your recommendations on how to structure the codebase so those modules can drop in later without major refactoring.
I’ll supply branding assets and product data; you’ll handle everything else: database design, clean URL routing, basic SEO setup, and a straightforward admin area where I can import, edit, and archive products. Deploy to my preferred host (AWS or similar), walk me through the hand-off, and give me brief documentation so I can manage routine updates myself.
