Experienced Backend Developer for E-commerce App -- 2

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build the core backend of an e-commerce application. The project involves developing APIs, implementing business logic, ensuring system scalability, and integrating essential e-commerce modules such as authentication, product management, cart, and order flow.

Responsibilities
- Develop backend APIs for products, categories, cart, checkout,orders, users, and payments
- Design scalable database schema for e-commerce workflows
- Implement authentication & authorization (JWT/OAuth)
- Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, or PayPal)
- Build efficient search/filter endpoints for product listing
- Ensure high performance, security, and clean coding standards
- Create API documentation (Swagger/Postman)
- Collaborate with frontend/mobile team as needed


Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js or Express.js (preferred)
- Solid understanding of REST API design
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with ORM/Query Builders (Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM, Knex)
- Good understanding of caching, queues, scalability & microservices (bonus)
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code

Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Knowledge of Redis, message queues, or cloud infrastructure (AWS/DigitalOcean)
- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments
