Project Description
I need a self-service customer-support chatbot deployed on WhatsApp. The goal is to clear the flood of routine questions my team handles each day—order status, shipping updates, basic troubleshooting—and leave only the genuinely complex issues for live agents.
I already have a verified WhatsApp Business account; what I’m missing is the automation layer. I’m open to the stack you prefer, whether that’s Dialogflow, Rasa, BotPress, or a custom Node.js / Python build, as long as it integrates cleanly with the WhatsApp Business API (Twilio or direct). The bot must:
• understand and reply in natural language (English for now)
• pull order information from our existing REST-based backend using token-authenticated requests
• hand off seamlessly to a human agent inside the same WhatsApp thread when the user types “agent” or confidence drops below an agreed threshold
• log every conversation, with timestamps, into our PostgreSQL database for later analytics
I will supply API docs, sample queries, and the brand voice guidelines. What I need from you is the fully functional bot, source code, brief setup instructions, and a short recorded demo showing it in action. If you have live WhatsApp chatbot examples, please share them so I can see your approach.
