Request for Engineering Firms to Design, Build & Install Biometric Attendance Systems (Hardware & Integration)
Project Description
We are seeking qualified engineering companies or biometric solution providers to design, build, supply, and install biometric attendance systems to be integrated with a centralized workforce monitoring software platform.
The solution will be deployed across multiple public institutions (health facilities) and must support secure, reliable, and scalable biometric data capture for attendance monitoring and governance purposes.
This is an institutional-level project. We are specifically interested in companies with proven capacity to deliver end-to-end biometric systems, including hardware engineering, deployment, and on-site installation.
Scope of Work
The selected company will be responsible for:
Designing and manufacturing biometric attendance devices
Supplying and installing devices at designated sites
Implementing fingerprint and/or facial recognition technology
Ensuring devices support:
Accurate sign-in and sign-out capture
Offline operation with secure data storage
Automatic synchronization once connectivity is restored
Providing secure APIs or SDKs for integration with a central software system
Mapping each device to a specific facility and location
Conducting biometric enrollment of staff during installation
Providing basic technical training for local administrators
Supporting pilot deployment and phased scale-up
Technical Expectations
Biometric systems must support:
Fingerprint and/or facial recognition

Secure device authentication and encrypted data transmission
Offline-first operation with background synchronization
API/SDK access for integration
Central device management and monitoring
