Maker & Designer Pattern Platform
We are creating a modern, user-friendly web platform and app for makers and designers to upload, manage, sell, and share craft patterns.
The website will offer a membership-based model with three tiers, allowing members to access patterns, track their projects, and interact with makers. Designers will be able to publish, sell downloads, and manage patterns, while gaining insights through analytics about engagement & sales. You will need to work on a Wordpress/Buddyboss structure and customise and develop it to fit our brief.
We won't have a 3 tiered membership, free to join and view or sell patterns, we will take a commission on each sale instead. And we are adding a Yearly Calendar and Shop Map to the Craft Culture area and charging business to be listed in Events/Courses and Trips and Shops to be shown on the map for their area.
Unlike many social platforms that prioritize “likes” or viral performance, this space will focus more on the making, the sharing of skills, and the value of thoughtful engagement. Members and makers are encouraged to focus on learning, experimenting, and documenting their craft journeys, while patterns are showcased for their quality, detail, and usability rather than metrics or popularity contests.
