This project involves building a seller-side SaaS application for ecommerce sellers to automate product listing creation.
The MVP focuses on:
-Batch editing of product images (multi-select, async processing)
-AI-generated product titles and descriptions
-Exporting listings to ecommerce platforms (Shopify and eBay)
This is not a marketplace and does not include buyer interactions.
The emphasis is on scalable architecture, async job processing, and reliability.
Detailed scope and roadmap will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
To be considered, please include all of the following in your proposal:
1. Relevant Past Work
Links or descriptions of 2–3 relevant projects, preferably involving:
SaaS applications
API integrations (Shopify, eBay, Stripe, etc.)
Media processing (images, files, async jobs)
Briefly describe your role and what parts you personally built.
2. Suggested Tech Stack
Please outline:
Frontend framework
Backend language/framework
Storage approach for images
Background job / queue system
Any third-party services you would use (e.g., image processing, AI)
3. High-Level Architecture Description
In 1–2 short paragraphs, explain:
How you would structure the system
How batch image processing would work
How exports to Shopify/eBay would be isolated from core logic
No diagrams needed — just a clear explanation.
4. Timeline Estimate
Please provide:
A rough timeline (in weeks)
Key milestones
Which parts you believe are the highest risk
5. Risks, Assumptions, or Open Questions
List:
Any assumptions you’re making
Potential risks you see
Any clarifying questions you have
6. Scope Tradeoffs
If timeline or budget becomes tight:
What would you cut or defer without breaking the MVP?
7. Availability & Communication
Please include:
Weekly availability (hours)
Time zone
Preferred communication method
8. Acknowledgement of Scope
Please confirm that you understand:
This is a lean MVP
Shopify and eBay only (for now)
Batch processing and async jobs are required
No marketplace or buyer features are included
In your response, please include the word ‘batch-safe’ somewhere so I know you read the full description.
