Automated PDF Parser and Estimator Software

My name is Hershel and I manage the construction of residential projects at HM For each new development we receive from our architect a single PDF file that contains:
1. Floor plan layout – every room is marked with a label A, B, or C (the room type).
2. Wall type catalogue – in a separate section of the same PDF the wall constructions are listed (e.g., “A type wall: 200 mm solid brick”, “B type wall: 150 mm insulated block”, etc.) together with their dimensions.
In order to streamline our material take off and cost estimating process, we are looking for a software tool that can:
• Parse the PDF automatically (no manual data entry).
• Identify each wall segment on the plan, associate it with the corresponding wall type description, and read its length/size.
• Count and total the number of walls (or linear metres) that belong to type A (or any other type on demand).
• Export the results to a simple format such as CSV or Excel for further analysis.
