Project Overview
Thor Technologies is seeking an experienced WordPress web developer or small specialist team to build a new premium website based on completed Figma designs.
Our current development engagement has ended due to delivery and capability issues. This is a clean restart with clear scope, strong assets, and decisive governance.
We are not looking for a generic WordPress implementer. We are looking for a high-end developer who can execute pixel-accurate builds, advanced animations, fast load times, and complex navigation structures.

Current State
• Existing website: WordPress
• New website designs: ~70 fully completed pages in Figma
• Existing content (video gallery, resources, support sections) can be reused where appropriate
• AI assistant already live on current site and must be retained

Core Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
1. WordPress Build (Admin-Managed)
• Website must be built on WordPress
• All pages, products, and resources must be manageable by admin users post-launch
• Clean, modular CMS structure (no hard-coded content)
• Custom post types expected (Products, Resources, Videos, etc.)

2. Figma-Accurate Implementation
• Near-pixel-perfect execution from Figma
• Proper use of components, spacing, typography, and hierarchy
• Designs include desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts

3. Performance & Speed
• Pages must load in under 2.5 seconds
• Performance optimised across:
o Mobile phones
o Tablets
o Small and large desktop screens
• Use of modern optimisation techniques:
o Image optimisation (WebP / AVIF)
o Caching
o CDN integration
o Minimal plugin bloat
• Performance will be measured and validated

4. Responsive Design
• Fully responsive across:
o iOS and Android phones
o Tablets
o Multiple desktop resolutions
• No layout degradation or broken elements
• Thorough cross-device testing required

5. Animations & Interactions
• Ability to implement advanced animations and transitions as per Figma designs
• Smooth, performant animations (CSS / JS / GSAP or equivalent)
• No heavy or lag-inducing animation libraries

6. Mega Menu Expertise (Critical)
• Site includes a complex Mega Menu
• Must be:
o Fast
o Touch-friendly
o Fully responsive
o Keyboard-accessible where possible
• Extensive prior experience with Mega Menus is mandatory

7. AI Integration
• Existing AI assistant must be integrated into the new site
• AI currently runs externally and is embedded on the site
• Developer must be comfortable working alongside AI tools and embeds

8. Content to be Included
• Product pages (multiple product families)
• Video gallery (can be adapted from existing site)
• Warranty documentation
• Support forms and contact flows
• Resource pages (downloads, videos, guides)
• Corporate pages (About, Sustainability, Safety, Contact)

Deliverables
• Fully built WordPress website
• Responsive across all devices
• Admin-editable CMS
• Performance-optimised and tested
• AI assistant integrated
• Clean handover including:
o Admin access
o Documentation
o Source code ownership
