Construction Contractor Marketplace Platform
Project Description
I’m building an online marketplace that makes it effortless for clients to connect with both general contractors and specialized trades—think plumbers, electricians, roofers, and more—all in one place.
The heart of the product is the contractor profile, which must include:
• Ratings and reviews
• A portfolio of past projects
• Clear contact information and real-time availability
Around those profiles, I need a smooth end-to-end flow: search and filter, project request, in-platform messaging, secure account creation, and payment processing (Stripe or PayPal). A responsive UI is a given; the site should perform equally well on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.
Please architect the platform for scalability (cloud deployment, containerisation or serverless if you prefer) and leave room for future mobile-app integration. An admin dashboard for user management, content moderation, and dispute handling is also required.
Deliverables are:
• Fully functional MVP deployed to the cloud
• Source code with clear commit history
• Brief technical documentation and a hand-over walkthrough video
