Project Description
I’m ready to build a fully-featured news platform that lives both on the web . The core of the project is an intelligent recommendation engine that serves each user a tailored mix of textual articles and videos.
Here’s the experience I have in mind:
• New visitors can quickly create an account or sign in with an existing credential, giving us the data we need to start personalizing their feed right away.
• Once inside, every user lands on a dynamic home screen fed by a recommendation model that learns from reading and viewing habits in real time.
• As people scroll, tap, and watch, the algorithm refines itself so the mix of articles and videos keeps getting sharper and more relevant.
• A clean, responsive website mirrors the mobile experience, sharing the same back-end and personalization logic, so progress and preferences stay synced.
• Push notifications aren’t a must for launch, but I’d like the architecture to leave room for them if we decide to add timely alerts later.
I’ll look to you to handle the complete build: UI/UX, web front-end, back-end APIs, the recommendation logic (feel free to leverage machine-learning libraries), and deployment.
