Build Fitness Smart Glasses Prototype

Project Description

I’m building a new platform called 24/7FIT and need a working pair of smart glasses that can stream a live trainer feed while the user works out. The glasses should present that feed as a small picture-in-picture overlay, letting the athlete keep full situational awareness.

Streaming has to work from both my mobile and web apps, so the onboard system must pair over Bluetooth and handle Ultra High Definition video smoothly. A lightweight micro-display, an embedded board such as a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W or ESP32-S3, and a compact battery pack will likely be the core hardware, but I’m open to the components you feel best meet the brief.

Key goals
• Integrate a bright, lightweight display inside standard eyewear frames
• Maintain UHD video quality over Bluetooth from either platform without noticeable latency
• Keep the design functional; cosmetics can wait until the demo phase
• Run fully untethered on battery during a typical workout session

Deliverables
1. Functional prototype demonstrating live PIP video inside the lenses
2. A concise build guide listing components, wiring, firmware, and configuration steps so I can reproduce or iterate on the unit

When the prototype can power on, pair with the apps, and stream a trainer session in UHD for a full workout, the project is complete. Show More
