Ecommerce SaaS Platform Designed for Indian Market

We are hiring a development company or highly capable product team to build a serious, multi-tenant, India-first ecommerce SaaS platform for B2C, B2B, and hybrid merchants.

This is not a Shopify setup, theme customization, plugin-stacking project, or a standard ecommerce website build. This is a software product build. We are looking for a team that understands product architecture, commerce workflows, scalable SaaS systems, and data-heavy platforms.

The platform we want to build is an all-in-one ecommerce operating system where merchants can run their online business end to end on a single platform. It should include a drag-and-drop storefront builder, strong merchant admin, full catalog and variant management, pricing and discount engine, cart and checkout, Indian payment methods including UPI and COD, shipping and returns workflows, inventory and warehouse visibility, customer and company account management, B2C and B2B capabilities in the same system, GST-ready invoicing, dashboards, and reporting.

A very important part of this build is the data foundation. This is not just a commerce platform requirement. It is also a data-complete platform requirement. From day one, the system must capture all meaningful commerce, operational, customer, financial, session, and event-level data. That includes order events, line-item data, SKU-level sales, payment events, shipping events, return and refund events, inventory movements, customer activity, session behavior, source and attribution fields, admin audit logs, and platform activity logs. The intelligence, recommendation, automation, and advanced decision-support layer will be built later, but the current build must already be architected so that nothing important is missed from the data side.

We want this product to be built properly from the start. It must be multi-tenant from day one, scalable, secure, API-first, maintainable, AWS-ready, and designed like a real SaaS platform, not a patched-together system that will need major rebuilding later. No mobile apps are required in the current scope. Web platform only.

The kind of team we are looking for should ideally have real experience in building ecommerce platforms, B2C and B2B commerce systems, multi-tenant SaaS products, reporting-heavy platforms, and backend-heavy product architectures. Experience with Indian commerce use cases will be a major advantage.
