Restaurant Reservation Web & Mobile Suite
Project Description
I’m building a streamlined table-reservation platform that works seamlessly on web browsers and native mobile devices (iOS and Android). Core features I need coded and designed include:
• A real-time reservation engine with calendar view, party-size controls, and instant availability updates.
• Push, SMS, and email notifications triggered for both diners and front-of-house staff whenever a booking is created, modified, or cancelled.
Beyond that, the interface should be clean, brand-ready, and easy for my staff to manage—think a lightweight admin panel where they can block tables, adjust seating capacity, and view day-of summaries. I’m happy to keep the scope focused on reservations for now, yet the architecture should leave room to bolt on menu management or online ordering later without a full rewrite.
Acceptance criteria
1. Responsive web app deployed to a staging URL.
2. Companion mobile app published to TestFlight / internal track for Android.
3. Source code (React, Flutter, or comparable modern stack), build scripts, and concise README so my in-house team can take over.
4. End-to-end test showing a booking made on one platform and the notification arriving on both user and staff devices in real time.
