Senior Webflow + AI Automation Engineer (Webflow CMS + API + OpenAI / Gemini + Automation)

We are looking for a senior developer to build a content automation system for Webflow templates using AI.

This is NOT a basic Webflow job.
This is a system architecture + automation + API + AI integration project.

Project goal

We want to create a reusable system that allows us to take a premium Webflow template and automatically populate it with AI-generated content (text, images, SEO, CMS items) without changing the layout.

The system should allow us to generate websites from prompts.

Example workflow:

Prompt →
AI generates structured content →
Automation parses JSON →
Webflow API updates CMS →
Template updates automatically

We will reuse this system for many websites.

Requirements

Strong experience with:

Webflow CMS architecture
Webflow API
OpenAI API / Gemini API / Claude API
Make.com / n8n / Zapier / custom automation
JSON-based workflows
REST APIs
Image generation APIs
Node.js or similar backend
Cloud functions (Google Cloud / AWS / Vercel)

Must understand:

CMS-driven templates
dynamic content pipelines
automation architecture
scalable internal tools

Scope

Phase 1 — Template architecture

Convert Webflow template to CMS-driven structure

All content must come from CMS fields:

hero text
images
services
testimonials
SEO
page content

Phase 2 — AI pipeline

Prompt → AI → structured JSON

AI should generate:

hero text
sections
services
testimonials
SEO
meta tags
image prompts

Phase 3 — Automation

Automation should:

send prompt to AI
receive JSON
map fields
update Webflow CMS via API
upload images
assign images to fields

Phase 4 — Image generation

AI → generate images →
upload to Webflow →
attach to CMS

Phase 5 — Reusable system

We want this to work for multiple websites using the same template.
