I’m building a web-based activities management system that lets our team plan, budget, track, and report on initiatives from one place. Project management is the core focus, so each feature should feel cohesive and intuitive rather than a loose collection of tools.

• Budget: allocate funds by overall project phases, then watch real-time spend, pacing, and ROI as work progresses.
• Timeline & Tasks: create activities, assign owners, set due dates, and visualise everything in a single calendar view.
• Dashboard: surface live KPIs, budget burn, and status summaries the moment someone logs in.
• Invoices & Quotes: route requests through an approval workflow so spend is approved before it happens and reconciled after.
• Permissions: role-based access that restricts sensitive financial views while giving collaborators what they need.
