PROJECT OVERVIEW:

We are an established Australian window and door company (Millennium Windows & Doors) looking to build a modern web application that allows customers to:
• Configure and price custom windows and doors
• Get instant quotes through a guided process
• Upload plans for pricing
• View a visualisation of products on their home (Phase 1)

This is NOT a basic website.
We are building a custom quoting tool / web application that will become a core part of our business.

We like the functionality of EZ Windows (Australia), however we want to build something significantly better in terms of:
• User experience
• Design (clean, premium, modern)
• Simplicity
• Speed
• Visual interaction

Our goal is to build the most advanced window and door website in Australia.

CORE FEATURES (PHASE 1):
1. QUOTE BUILDER (PRIMARY FUNCTION)

Multi-step guided flow:
• Project type
• Product selection (visual)
• Size input
• Frame colour
• Glass options
• Supply vs install
• Live pricing updates
• Customer details capture

Must be:
• Simple and easy to use
• Mobile-first
• Fast and responsive
• Designed to maximise conversions

2. VISUALISER (PHASE 1 – BASIC / AI-ASSISTED)

• User uploads a photo of their home
• Selects window/door type and colour
• System displays a visual preview (overlay or AI-assisted)

Note:
This does NOT need to be fully automated AI yet, but must be designed so it can be upgraded later.

3. PLAN UPLOAD

• Upload PDF/JPG/DWG plans
• Admin backend to review submissions

4. FINANCE DISPLAY

• Display indicative weekly pricing (e.g. “From $85/week”)
• No full lender integration required in Phase 1

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:
• Clean, modern interface (Apple/Tesla style)
• Strong UX (guided, minimal clicks, no confusion)
• Visual product selection (not text-heavy)
• Consistent branding (green / black / white)

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE):
• Building web applications (NOT just basic websites)
• Product configurators or quote builders
• Custom frontend development (React / Next.js preferred)
• Backend logic for pricing/calculations
• Admin dashboards for managing products/pricing

• Image upload / visualisation tools
• Construction or product-based platforms
• Experience designing high-conversion UX flows
