Only bid if you can show me a demo of an existing system. I need a complete asset-management application focused on our field-deployed equipment. The solution must combine a GPS module for real-time location data with a robust back-office system that lets my team see where every unit is, how it is being used, and when it next needs attention.
Core functionality I cannot compromise on:
• Real-time GPS tracking for each asset
• Maintenance scheduling with alerts when service windows are approaching or overdue
• Asset inventory management so we can add, retire, or transfer equipment effortlessly
• Usage analytics that turn raw movement and runtime data into actionable reports
A clean web dashboard is essential; a lightweight companion mobile view would be a plus for technicians in the field. I’m open to your preferred tech stack as long as the front end is intuitive, the back end is secure, and the database can scale with thousands of devices.
Deliverables:
1. Working application (frontend, backend, database schema) installed on our server
2. Source code repository with clean commit history and documentation
3. Brief user guide plus API documentation for future integrations
4. One demo session to walk my team through the system
The project will be considered complete once a random sample of devices shows up in the map view, maintenance alerts trigger on schedule, and inventory/usage reports export correctly to CSV and PDF.
Let me know your proposed architecture, timeline, and any similar projects you have shipped.
