I’m building the first release of Qubit’s web-based medical supply-chain platform and need a developer who can turn our concept into a working MVP that proves one crucial point: anyone—manufacturers, retailers and even end consumers—can instantly verify the authenticity of a pharmaceutical item the moment they scan or enter its data.
Scope of the MVP
The build should centre entirely on pharmaceutical traceability, with special emphasis on real-time authenticity checks. Core flows include uploading or generating batch/serial data at the manufacturing side, passing that data through the distribution chain, and exposing a simple verification interface that confirms a product’s legitimacy before it reaches (or is dispensed to) a patient.
Key features to implement
• Secure product-registration endpoint for manufacturers
• Tamper-proof batch / serial storage (any robust solution—e.g. hashed signatures, blockchain ledger, or database with audit trail—so long as you can justify its integrity)
• Verification API and lightweight web UI for retailers and consumers to confirm authenticity in seconds
• Role-based access so manufacturers, retailers and end consumers each see only what they need while sharing the same underlying data source
• Activity logs that can be exported for regulators
Acceptance criteria
1. A hosted demo site and repo showing end-to-end registration → verification with sample data.
2. Clear README or short Loom walkthrough so non-technical stakeholders understand the flow.
3. Deployment script (Docker-compose, Terraform, or similar) so we can spin up the stack internally without guesswork.
If you have a preferred stack that can hit these milestones quickly—whether it’s Node.js + React, Django + Vue, or another modern framework—let me know in your reply; the tech is flexible as long as speed, security and auditability are baked in.
I’m ready to share wireframes and flow diagrams as soon as we kick off. Looking forward to seeing how you would bring this authenticity-first MVP to life.
