We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer or team that can architect and deliver a production-ready platform from the ground up.

The platform will support multiple major categories such as:

Each category may require different listing structures, filters, and attributes. The system must be designed to support category-specific data models and future expansion without major rework.

Marketplace System

* Listing creation (images, pricing, structured attributes)
* Category-specific fields (dynamic schema)
* Advanced search and filtering (scalable and performant)
* Featured and promoted listings

User System

* Secure registration and authentication
* Profile management (buyer/seller roles)
* Seller dashboard with listing and performance tracking
* KYC-ready identity verification system


Payments and Escrow

* Integration with Stripe
* Marketplace payments using Stripe Connect
* Escrow-style transaction lifecycle (hold → fulfill → release)
* Controlled payout logic (based on confirmation or time-based rules)
* Dispute handling and admin intervention capability


Communication

* Buyer - Seller messaging system
* Notifications (email and in-app)

Admin and Trust System

* Full admin dashboard
* Listing moderation and approval
* User management and verification oversight
* Dispute resolution tools
* Reporting and audit logs

TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS

Preferred stack:

* Frontend: React or Next.js
* Backend: Node.js or NestJS
* Database: PostgreSQL (preferred for transactional integrity)
