Our service has grown quickly by advertising individual vendor products, yet shoppers still see us as a collection of listings rather than a go-to marketplace. I now want to shift that perception. The priority for this engagement is simple: build widespread brand awareness so people across our African markets recognize our service as the first place to search, discover local vendors and start a WhatsApp conversation to buy.

I’m looking for a marketing partner that has already done this kind of platform-level lift for marketplaces, classifieds, directories, comparison sites or similar consumer services. Your plan should centre on two core channels—social media and search engine marketing—because those are where we know our audience spends time and where we can scale quickly. Feel free to weave in complementary tactics, but the bulk of the strategy and reporting must sit on those two pillars.

Key things I’d like to see delivered:
• A clear positioning framework that moves us from “vendor catalogue” to “trusted discovery destination”.
• A creative concept (visuals, voice and key messages) that can travel seamlessly across social ads, search copy and landing pages.
• A phased media plan laying out budgets, target regions, KPIs and optimisation cadence for Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads and any other high-leverage social search inventory you recommend.
• Weekly performance dashboards with actionable insights, not just numbers.
• A playbook for vendor amplification so our sellers can echo the brand story in their own channels.
