Project Description
I have an existing file name in mind—scrolling-web.html—and I want it to open with a single, polished Home section that feels dynamic as you move through it. The anchor #features will sit inside that Home area, so when a visitor clicks a link or lands directly on /scrolling-web.html#features the viewport scrolls smoothly to the feature list instead of jumping.
I’m still deciding between parallax, infinite, or a subtler smooth-scroll approach, so please be ready to demo or suggest the technique that best balances visual appeal with performance. Clean HTML5, modern semantic markup, and lean CSS/JavaScript (Vanilla JS is fine; a lightweight library such as GSAP or Locomotive Scroll is also welcome) are all must-haves—I want a page that loads fast and behaves consistently on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers.
Deliverable
• A single, responsive HTML/CSS/JS file named exactly scrolling-web.html
• In-page anchor #features that scrolls smoothly from any internal link
• All code commented clearly so I can tweak copy or colors later
• No external CSS frameworks unless you explain the benefit; keep the footprint light
Once the Home section looks and feels right, there’s room to expand with About or Contact sections, but for this project the focus is a flawless, scroll-driven Home experience. Let me know your proposed scrolling method and timeline, and share one live example where you have already implemented a similar effect.
