Cross-Platform Tanzanian Food Delivery

Project Description

I want to build a sophisticated, modern-looking food delivery application that works seamlessly on iOS, Android, and the web. The design should feel persuasive and premium while remaining lightweight enough for everyday Tanzanian users on varied network speeds.

Scope and core flows
• Customer interface – menu browsing, precise live location tracking (GPS with map pin drop accuracy), mobile payments common in Tanzania, real-time order status, and push notifications.
• Driver interface – motorbike couriers sign in, accept jobs, view navigation, and update delivery status.
• Admin interface – restaurant onboarding, order management, driver oversight, analytics, and configurable promos.

Driver onboarding requirements
• National ID check (mandatory for all riders)
• Driver’s license verification
• Motorbike details and photos

I’m comfortable if you use a shared codebase framework such as Flutter or React Native for the mobile apps and something like React or Next.js for the web panel, backed by a secure REST or GraphQL API. Whatever stack you pick, emphasis must be on reliability, straightforward maintenance, and clear documentation so future Tanzanian developers can extend the project.

Deliverables
1. Source code for mobile apps and web panel
2. Compiled builds ready for App Store, Google Play, and web hosting
3. Database schema and API documentation
4. Short hand-off guide covering deployment, scaling, and adding new restaurants

Acceptance criteria
• Location accuracy within 15 m in Dar es Salaam test runs
• Successful end-to-end order cycle in staging for customer, driver, and admin roles
• Automated validation blocking riders who do not pass the ID, license, or vehicle checks

If you have prior experience launching delivery tech in emerging markets—even better. Show me relevant links or demos, outline your proposed architecture, and include an estimated timeline. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on the plan. Show More
