Android E-Commerce Print Shop App
Project Description
I need an Android-only e-commerce application that lets my shop showcase items, accept orders, and instantly send those orders to an in-store printer for fulfilment. The core flow should feel familiar to online shoppers—browse, add to cart, pay—while the back end automatically formats each confirmed order into a clear receipt that prints on our thermal printer the moment the transaction completes.
Here’s what I want delivered:
• A fully functional APK and clean, well-commented source code (Kotlin or Java in Android Studio).
• Simple product management so I can add, edit, and categorise items without touching code.
• Secure checkout with the usual options (credit/debit, wallet, or any standard gateway you recommend).
• Local or network printing that works out of the box with common 58 mm/80 mm thermal printers—no extra tap from the cashier.
• Basic customer account section showing previous orders and status updates.
• An admin dashboard (web or in-app) where I can see incoming orders in real time, reprint receipts, or mark items as shipped/collected.
Acceptance criteria: the app installs on Android 8.0+, processes a test order end-to-end, and produces a correctly formatted printout on our demo printer during hand-off. Once that is confirmed, I’ll sign off the milestone. Show More
