Project Description

I’m building a field-ready mobile app that helps our couriers shave minutes off every run by steering them along the smartest possible route. The core of the project is route optimization, but I also need it to feed drivers real-time traffic updates, let them handle multiple delivery points in a single trip, and quietly log performance data so we can review individual efficiency later.

The finished product has to work smoothly on both iOS and Android phones used in our fleet. I’m open to the tech stack—whether you favour Flutter, React Native, or fully native builds—as long as the user experience remains identical across devices and you can tap into reliable mapping and traffic APIs.

Key functional blocks I expect:
• Smart routing engine with adjustable priorities (fastest time, shortest distance, or custom rules we define).
• Live traffic overlay that automatically recalculates when conditions change.
• Easy stop sequencing for dozens of daily drop-offs, with drag-and-drop re-ordering if dispatch calls in a change.
• Background collection of driver stats (speed, on-time ratio, idle time) displayed on an admin dashboard.
• Secure sign-in tied to our existing employee IDs.

You’ll hand over production-ready builds for both platforms, clean and well-commented source code, brief setup docs, and a demo session so my team can test before rollout.
