React Native & Web App Enhancement

We already have a working prototype built with React Native on the front end and a Python + PostgreSQL stack on the back. My goal over the next three months is to polish the mobile experience, refine the overall UI/UX, and steadily roll out new features. If time permits, I’d like to extend the same codebase—or a shared component library—to a companion React web app.

You’ll work about 25 hours each week, pair regularly with our in-house engineers, and check in directly with our CTO. The process will be sprint-based and highly iterative, so comfort with rapid feedback loops is essential. Familiarity with third-party API integrations will help you dive straight into some of our existing hooks.

Core tools you should be comfortable with include:
• React Native and React (web)
• Modern state-management (Redux Toolkit, Context, or equivalent)
• Python/REST back-end interaction
• PostgreSQL awareness for debugging API payloads

High-level deliverables:
• A cleaner, more intuitive mobile UI shipped to TestFlight/Internal Testing each sprint
• Incremental feature builds merged into our GitHub flow with clear pull-request notes
• A proof-of-concept web interface, even if just for key screens, by the end of the engagement
