Customizable School Grading System Development
Project Description
I need a lightweight school management program where the grading module takes center stage. The core of the build should allow teachers to enter raw marks and instantly see final results based on grading scales that I can edit myself—letter grades, percentages, or any custom rubric we decide to add later.
Beyond grades I only have one other data set that must live in the same database: each student’s enrollment history (past classes, current classes, withdrawal dates, and reinstatements). No medical files, no demographic records—just enrollment tracking tightly linked to the grade book.
Key points I want covered:
• Intuitive dashboard for entering marks and adjusting grade scales on the fly
• Secure storage of enrollment history, searchable by student and term
• Clear separation between teacher and admin permissions
• Export of grade reports to PDF or Excel for easy sharing
• Clean codebase that lets me expand to attendance or other modules later
