Project Description
I need an experienced Python engineer to build a crypto-trading bot that connects directly to the Binance API. My priority is reliable order execution and clean, well-documented code that I can extend later.
At this point I’m still finalising the exact strategy, so the architecture should let me plug in day-trading, swing-trading or scalping logic without rewriting core modules. If you have proven algorithms or back-testing frameworks you prefer—whether that’s TA-Lib, CCXT, pandas, or a custom signal engine—let’s use them, as long as they remain easy for me to tweak.
Core objectives
• Secure Binance authentication and order handling (spot and, ideally, futures).
• Modular strategy layer with clear interfaces.
• Configurable risk controls (position sizing, max drawdown, stop-loss / take-profit).
• Logging and simple console or web dashboard for trade history and key metrics.
Deliverables
1. Production-ready Python source with inline docstrings.
2. README covering setup, config files, and typical command examples.
3. Short video or call walking me through deployment on my own machine.
I’ll test the bot against Binance’s sandbox first; once it performs as expected we can switch to live keys. Looking forward to collaborating with someone who has real-world Binance experience and can move quickly.
