Project Name: Video on Demand (VOD) System UI/UX Modernization
1. Project Overview
The Video on Demand (VOD) platform is currently operational with a fully functional backend, APIs, and business logic. The existing web application and mobile applications require a complete redesign of their user interfaces while preserving the existing backend functionality.

The objective is to modernize the user experience while keeping the backend, APIs, authentication, streaming, and database unchanged.
2. Project Scope
Web: Redesign frontend using Laravel Blade only; responsive for desktop, tablet, and mobile; integrate with existing backend.

Mobile: Redesign iOS and Android applications using existing backend APIs.
3. Objectives
Modern UI/UX, improved navigation, faster loading, responsive design, consistent branding, maintainability, and performance.
4. Technical Requirements
Web: Laravel Blade, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5/Tailwind (if approved), JavaScript.
Backend remains unchanged.
Mobile: UI redesign for iOS and Android.

6. Mobile Screens
Splash, Login, Registration, Home, Categories, Search, Movie Details, Series Details, Video Player, Favorites, Downloads, Profile, Subscription, Payment, Settings, Notifications, Watch History, About, Help.
7. UI/UX Requirements
Modern interface, responsive layout, professional icons, typography, accessibility, smooth navigation, consistent colors.
8. Functional Requirements
Support all existing backend features, including authentication, profile management, streaming, subscriptions, payments, notifications, and settings.
9. Performance
Optimize assets, lazy loading, caching, CDN-ready, Lighthouse target >90 where feasible.
10. Security
CSRF, XSS protection, validation, HTTPS, secure session handling.
11. Deliverables
Laravel Blade frontend source code, iOS/Android UI updates, documentation, installation, and deployment guides.
12. Acceptance Criteria
Blade-only frontend, backend unchanged, API compatibility, responsive design, tested mobile apps, and documentation delivered.
13. Out of Scope
Backend redevelopment, database redesign, API redevelopment, infrastructure upgrades, SPA migration.
14. Timeline
UI/UX: 2–3 weeks
Web: 3–5 weeks
Mobile: 3–4 weeks each
Testing: 2 weeks
UAT: 1 week
Deployment: 1 week
