I’m setting up a three-month, part-time engagement for an engineer who can take our day-to-day operations and turn them into streamlined, AI-driven workflows. The primary goal is to automate operations, and that means much more than simple RPA scripts—I need production-ready API integrations and intelligent agents that stay maintainable once I step away.
Current focus areas
• Sales, order bookings, and logistics processes still rely on too much manual touch.
• Data travels through a CRM system, an inventory platform, WhatsApp conversations, and legacy tools such as Navision and Busy. Right now each hand-off is a bottleneck.
What I expect from you
You’ll design and code the entire backbone: secure REST endpoints, clean front-end hooks (React or similar), and microservices or serverless functions that talk fluently with every API in play. Python or Node.js is fine, provided the approach supports quick iteration and future hand-off. Where rule-based logic isn’t enough, I want small, focused AI agents—think LangChain, OpenAI, or similar libraries—making routing and decision calls.
Key deliverables
1. Unified automation workflows covering sales, order booking, and logistics.
2. Stable integrations for CRM, inventory, WhatsApp, Navision, and Busy.
3. A lightweight monitoring or analytics layer so we can see throughput and failure points.
4. Deployment scripts (Docker, CI/CD) and concise documentation that another engineer can pick up without reverse-engineering your code.
Acceptance criteria
• All workflows complete without manual intervention in a staging environment for five consecutive business days.
• API error handling is centralized and logged.
• Documentation is current, covering setup, environment variables, and extension points.
