Technical Oversight for Power Bank App

Full Stack Developer Needed to Oversee App & Software Development
ROUGE X is a portable power bank rental business seeking an experienced freelance full stack developer to oversee a Chinese manufacturer’s development of our customer app, backend, and management portal.
Development is expected to begin in December 2026 and take approximately four weeks. We already have a cloud engineer assisting with AWS setup and need someone to provide technical oversight throughout the build.
Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing requirements, architecture, and source code.
• Coordinating with the manufacturer’s development team.
• Reviewing charging station integrations, payments, rental tracking, station locations, and return-anywhere functionality.
• Working with our cloud engineer on deployment and access controls.
• Testing functionality and reviewing documentation, code ownership, and final handover.
Experience with AWS, mobile apps, APIs, payment integrations, and connected hardware is preferred. Experience working with overseas development teams is a plus.
